Delicious korean food and best of all it's near the famous Cologne Cathedral

Super nice people! Got three extra side dishes with our meal. We were very happy when we saw it at home. The food was bombshell and cooked us super quickly. We are coming back to the Cologne branch from Bochum soon!

Very tasty food, my absolute favorite is the Dakgangjeong dish. We usually like to eat on site, but unfortunately that's not possible at the moment. The food was super packaged so that it could also be enjoyed warm at home. The mini side dishes known to Koreans were also packed, which I found very nice! Thank you very much and I look forward to visiting you after Corona in the newly renovated restaurant! Stay healthy

The very spicy dishes are very tasty despite the spiciness.

Very good Korean restaurant for lunch and dinner. It is located directly opposite Presslauerplatz in a side street. The restaurant offers a good variety of Korean dishes. The service is friendly. If you have to go fast during the lunch break, you should be there before 12 noon, otherwise you have to plan a longer waiting time.

Small but nice restaurant. I'll be back, there is still a lot on the menu that I want to try! I had rice cakes in a spicy hot sauce. Portions are big. I can only recommend the classic chicken.

Very nice service and delicious food. I am used to a greater variety of dishes from Gigi Matcha from Heidelberg (some dishes were simply crossed out on the menu), but the quality of the dishes is equally good. In my opinion, the place would benefit from a more traditional or calm music selection, as the "party music" seems rather inappropriate.

Cheap, varied selection of food and drinks. My girlfriend and I were really delighted to have discovered an inn near us, which we can still afford at the end of the month without restriction. The restaurant is always fine and we had a wonderful evening here The place was immaculately cleaned and the seating was extremely comfortable. Very brisk and friendly service. I think that the entire local staff did a good job there.

Very, very tasty and, above all, authentic food. It tastes like in Korea itself. I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone.

They could update their holiday schedules to Google. We went and it was closed. EDIT: It would be more user-friendly to edit "Hours" which currently says "Open now", if possible. Anyhow, thanks for replying. Looking forward to visit again soon.

You could at least mention somewhere that it is currently closed for renovation. Somewhere on the website or on the phone as an announcement. It's a shame. Fortunately, it's easy to find an alternative in Cologne. ------------------- Addendum: In fact, it was on Google News. With that I revise my rating to a fair 4 and when it is newly renovated I am looking forward to a nice day at Gogi Matcha :)

Ordered take away for lunch, I was still hungry after dolsot bibimbap but was quite tasty and fried chicken is not what we were used to in Seoul. Still good enough for a European Korean restaurant.

Not as good as we expected. The waiter is lack of people skills maybe because his English is not good. Although he is sloppy as well, forgot and made mistakes of our drinks. All the dishes we ordered supposed to be none spicy, but the children cannot have any because they all are! Not Children friendly.

Really tasty! One star less, because they forgot us for like 40 minutes, but very nice staff nonetheless :))

This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Cologne! Inside of the restaurant is clean and foods are all tasty. They accept take out.

Real and authentic Korean restaurant! Most dishes are served with meat, but they do offer vegetarian options, too. I ordered bokkum udong (I hope it’s written correctly) and it was delicious! The service was quick and friendly. Thank you very much!

Superb authentic Korean food..

Though the food was great, I would think twice to visit again. I came for lunch the second time when it was full and they refused to serve us without knowing if we had a reservation or not. This also happened the first time but we managed to get separate seats. 4.5 stars for the food, 1 star for the staff.

We had dinner there and the food was very good. We wanted to try the lunch menu so we came back the next day. However, the service was very very bad since the first time we were there. We try to get a table for 7 and the waiters immediately refused until we offer to sit separately by 4 and 3. And the next day the same thing happened, they immediately refused without even asking if we had an reservation or not. It was very dissapointing service from the staff.

I really love this restaurant. The food is very tasty, fair price, fast service and many different options to choose from.

Awesome food. It was the best thing I had in a while. But be careful, but if they put 3 chilies next to the name of your food it's going to be hot. I had the pork with kimchi and it was hot but really really good

This place is always amazing to visit. The food tastes really good. The place is run by korean people and the food tastes very authentic (i lived in seoul for 3 years so you can trust my comparisons ?). Sometimes you need to make reservations in advance especially if you go as a big group because it is often full.
